About the role:
Chandler Macleod currently has a number of vacancies for Farm Hands located in the far northern Adelaide farm region: Meldrum, Eudunda, Riverton & Robertstown. Our client is a privately owned Australian company, providing premium quality poultry products throughout Australia.
Successful applicants will be completing general labour and farm tasks, including: maintenance, working with roosters and chickens, cleaning out sheds, floor walking collecting eggs. Starting times may vary and occasional weekend shifts are to be expected. You will need to be fit, healthy, reliable and available to start immediately.
Skills and Requirements:

• Must not live or have regular contact with any birds, chicken or pigs due to quarantine restrictions
• Be a hard worker and physically fit
• Experience in repetitive manual handling, up to 20kgs
• Current drivers’ licence
• Be willing to work with live chickens and roosters
• Be flexible to travel between different farm locations, depending on the client’s needs. Suited to candidates who live in the Northern Farm districts, north of Gawler
• Be reliable and have solid work references
