Responsibilities:

1. Safely transport goods, passengers, or documents to designated locations
2. Follow traffic laws and adhere to safety regulations while operating a vehicle
3. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs
4. Load and unload goods or assist passengers with their belongings
5. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for passengers
6. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
7. Plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or other mapping tools
8. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out
9. Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on routes or assignments
10. Assist with routine vehicle maintenance, such as refueling or cleaning

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being operated (e.g., commercial driver’s license for trucks or buses)
2. Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations
3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
4. Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, or buses
5. Strong customer service and communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and navigate efficiently using GPS or other navigational tools
7. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items if required
8. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, depending on the nature of the job
10. Prior experience as a professional driver may be preferred, depending on the role.
