Main Objective:

The Arthrex Medical Affairs Department has built a large educational web and learning management system presence. This position will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the continued accuracy and timely placement or removal of content on the many web properties maintained by Medical Affairs. To assist in the development and improvement of processes and standards for content management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Work with all Medical Affairs divisions to support their unique asset needs
  • Assists in planning and executing team projects as well as in creation of any training documentation those projects may require
  • Consult in the design and creation of new features in CMS/admin as well as on web properties themselves.
  • Plan and execute small-scale projects and initiatives and facilitates communication between stakeholders, team members, etc.
  • Assist in planning and executing team projects as well as in creation of any training documentation those projects may require
  • Assist in the regional language(s) support of SEO on all Medical Affairs web properties.

Customer Support

  • Notify stakeholders of distributed content or changes to content status (active, inactive, etc.).
  • Complete requests assigned within expected service level agreements. Assigns requests to team members as needed.

Content Management

  • Schedule the placement of content in accordance with plans, policies, procedures, and agreed-upon timelines.
  • Support the findability of content through the development of metadata strategies and partnership with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Process and maintain content for web properties
  • Assist with improving processes within Arthrex to increase content management efficiency.
  • Support the planning and implementation of content evaluation projects.
  • Develop and monitor tracking and evaluation criteria for digital content.
  • Develop regular reports and analytics dashboards on key content engagement metrics; provide data analysis and visualization to communicate insights with stakeholders.

Governance

  • Participates in development and maintenance of governance policy and procedures
  • Document processes and procedures.

Training and Onboarding

  • Participate in the training of new team members on processes and functions of the team and business related to Medical Affairs web properties.

Knowledge/Skills:

Communication

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills particularly spelling and vocabulary. Verbal skills, including in-person and telephone
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

General

  • Experience in fundamental web design principals, user experience, or human computer interaction preferred.
  • Familiarity with metadata field types, content modeling, and taxonomy structures preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive work environment.
  • Ability to lead small and medium-scale projects effectively.

Technical

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems
  • Proficiency in Digital Asset Management Systems a plus
  • Familiarity with coding languages such as JSON, HTML, CSS, etc. is a plus
  • Knowledge of standard publishing/course authoring tools preferred
  • Familiarity with eLearning standards (i.e., AICC, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, and LTI) preferred

Education:

B.A./B.S. In a related field required

Related experience preferred
