We know that our success is the result of more than 4,000 talented people working together to achieve amazing outcomes.Reporting to the Credit Supervisor, the Credit Officer oversees the management of an assigned debtors ledger, handling collections, allocation, dispute resolution, and reconciliation to optimise cash receivables and support sales.The role is accountable for achieving days sales outstanding (DSO) and aged debt goals, managing key accounts, and making decisions within credit policy regarding customer trading status, debt collection strategy, and order approval.The Credit Officer efficiently handles the Credit Limit Exceed report, manages disputed invoices, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure cash collections and customer satisfaction.Additionally, the successful individual will be responsible for timely payment allocation, identifying high-risk customers, implementing mitigation measures, seeking process improvements, and addressing customer queries across all channels promptly.Location: South Guildford, WARoster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour daysTo be successful the following is required:
- Proven credit expertise and a can-do attitude
- Exceptional organisational prowess to manage tasks efficiently in demanding environments
- Demonstrated experience at effective cash collections
- Proficient in meticulous account reconciliation
- Skilled in meeting personal and team objectives effectively
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities with diverse stakeholders
- Excel proficiency including basic formulas
- Demonstrated problem-solving acumen with stakeholder influence
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software like SAP is seen as highly advantageous
