As the Postdoctoral Research Fellow or Research Fellow, you will work as part of an international team but will be based in the .This project focuses on enhancing understanding of human motor behaviour from a physiological and computational perspective, and would suit applicants with expertise in electrophysiology, computational modelling, and/or biomechanics methods.Key responsibilities as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Level A) and Research Fellow (Level B) will including the following (with varying degrees of requirement):ResearchTeachingSupervision and researcher developmentCitizenship and serviceThese are research focused positions. Further information can be found by viewing UQ’s .For further information, please to view the information booklet.These are full-time (100%), fixed-term positions for up to 12 months.At Academic level A, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $77,324 – $102,945, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $90,470 – $120,445 annually.At Academic level B, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $108,201 – $128,201, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $126,595 – $149,996 annually.As these roles is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.The greater of joining the UQ community are broad: from being part of a university, to recognition of prior service with other Australian universities, up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave, 17.5% annual leave loading, and genuine career progression opportunities via the academic promotions process.About YouPostdoctoral Research Fellow (Level A)As a Level A, you will be able to demonstrate:Completion, or expected completion within 6 months, of a PhD in a relevant discipline area.Applicants with academic qualifications in human sensorimotor control, neurophysiology, experimental psychology, or biomedical engineering will be highly regarded.Applicants with technical expertise in, or aptitude for, EMG, EEG, motion capture, TMS, basic electronics, software coding, computational modelling, and/or advanced data analysis skills will be highly regarded.An emerging profile in research in the discipline area.Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.Evidence of contributions towards seeking or successfully obtaining external research funding.A developing record of supervision of Honours and/or Research Higher Degree students to successful completion.Some experience in meaningful internal service roles in conjunction with active contributions to external activities.Research Fellow (Level B)As a Level B, you will be able to demonstrate:Completion of a PhD in the discipline area.Applicants with academic qualifications in human sensorimotor control, neurophysiology, experimental psychology, or biomedical engineering will be highly regarded.Applicants with technical expertise in, or aptitude for, EMG, EEG, motion capture, TMS, basic electronics, software coding, computational modelling, and/or advanced data analysis skills will be highly regarded.A growing profile in research in the discipline area.A developing reputation and track record of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.Evidence of successfully seeking, obtaining, and managing external research funding.A growing record of supervision of Honours and Research Higher Degree students to successful completion.Experience in meaningful internal service roles in conjunction with active contributions to external activities.Relocating from interstate or overseas?
