This friendly, busy, family medical centre was established 19 years ago. They have six GPs currently working at the practice, including registrars. The practice is AGPAL accredited with mixed billing, and full support from onsite management, IT and administration.Position Description:
They are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and self-motivated RN with the ability to multi-task. The practice is passionate about their service to the community, so they are looking for someone who shares this passion for primary health, has a positive attitude and will be a strong team player.Roles and Responsibilities:Immunisations (adult and children)Wound care – Assisting doctors with proceduresTriage and assessment of patientsTreatment room procedures including ECG, Spirometry & Ear SyringingChronic Disease ManagementCare plan development and reviewsAssisting in the management of recalls and remindersSupporting, and mentoring ENs, less experienced RNs and students as required.Qualifications & Experience:Registered Nurse (Enrolled Nurses will be considered, experience-dependent)Unconditional AHPRA registrationTraining can be given for applicants with reduced experience.Job Type: Permanent – Part TimeHours: 2-3 days/week, ideally with flexibility to cover leave of other nurses.Salary Information: $38-$35 per hourAbout Malanda:
