Now Hiring Maintenance Tech Sr! The world needs creative solutions. We need YOU!

You will be responsible for our Mechanical Maintenance business unit (including millwright and other maintenance duties as assigned). This will consist of troubleshooting, installation, aligning, repair of rotating equipment, and completion of preventative maintenance tasks at the Port Arthur, TX Site.

During your hours as a Maintenance Tech Sr, you will…

Work in the Maintenance Department under the direction of the Rotating Equipment Supervisor and alongside other Maintenance Technicians.
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain/create documentation for plant equipment.
Support all EHS policies and procedures while promoting a safe working environment.
Track and update assigned tasks in our maintenance management system (SAP).
Be willing to work overtime as required and to work with material that is deemed to be hazardous by RCRA (adhering to site accepted safety policies, including PPE policies).

Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

If you have…

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in driver to driven alignment.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment .
Ability to climb, work at heights, work within confined spaces, and work in a non-climatized atmospheres (including extreme temperatures and varying stages of humidity).
Capacity to read and update drawings, specifications, and P&IDs. – Proficient in use of computers: (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
