We’re b.social – the restaurant and taproom for b.effect Brewing Co in Wanaka. Locals love us because we focus on great food, beer, and genuine hospitality. Our goal is simple: be the best neighborhood spot in New Zealand.
We need a Chef de Partie who can handle their own section and help us keep delivering food people get excited about. You’d work in a busy but supportive kitchen with chefs who actually care about what they’re doing.
What You’d Do
- Prep, cook, and plate dishes to our standards
- Work with Head Chef on menu planning and cost control
- Manage stock levels and minimize waste
- Keep your section clean and running smoothly
- Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal specials
What We Need
- Commercial Cookery qualification OR 3+ years proven chef experience
- 2+ years running a section in a commercial kitchen
- Modern cooking techniques and kitchen operations knowledge
- Can handle pressure while maintaining quality
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays
