About the role:
Join Origin Energy as a Business Development Manager in Hobart and surrounds. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind expanding our LPG business in the area. As a proactive “hunter,” you’ll harness your cold-calling expertise to achieve remarkable results while developing your leadership skills.
Reporting directly to the Vic/Tas Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in spotting and nurturing commercial and industrial opportunities, positioning yourself for advancement in various segments of the dynamic LPG markets. Initially, the primary focus of the role will be on acquiring new businesses. Over time, the role will evolve to include some account management responsibilities for existing clients.
While minimal interstate travel is required, you can expect frequent travel to other terminal locations across Tasmania and client visits in different parts of the state. Some overnight travel will be necessary to fulfill the requirements of the role.
Your key responsibilities:
Unleash your cold calling expertise to secure new business opportunities
Cultivate a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
Share market insights and competitor information regularly
Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, amplifying sales leads
Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold stringent safety and environmental standards
What you will bring:
Proven B2B sales track record

Proficiency in relationship management
Adept at cold calling for results
Skilful sales pipeline management
Possess a valid driver’s license
