Assistant Professor-Biomaterials/Chemical Biology Job Details:

The Department of Chemistry at Rice University in Houston, TX seeks applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor rank with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2024. We seek faculty members who will develop a dynamic and innovative research program and who will excel in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, while embracing Rice University and Department of Chemistry diverse community and culture of excellence.

We welcome applicants with expertise defined broadly at the intersection of chemistry and biology including Chemical Biology, Biomaterials, Supramolecular Chemistry, Chemistry of Biomacromolecules, and Medicinal Chemistry. A PhD in chemistry or related field is required by July 1, 2024.
