Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

– European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.

– Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

A VIE for a Quality Resource & Performance Support in FAL Mobile (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Mobile, Alabama. You will join the FAL A320 Quality team .

Contract duration: 24 months, starting date: 01/09/2023

This date is subject to flexibility due to country constraints and the health context related to COVID-19.

The Mobile plant is a major assembly and delivery site for Airbus commercial aircraft in the United States and one of the largest employment centers in the state. The site is one of four final assembly and delivery points for the Airbus A320 Family and one of two final assembly and delivery points for the Airbus A220.

Tasks & accountabilities:

You will be part of the Quality Final Assembly Line Single Aisle in Mobile and support the management team on diverse activities with a specific focus on Resources and Performance Management and participate in the strategy discussions in order to organize the activities of the department.

You will be responsible to :

Perform analysis (reporting, analysis, and planning, monitoring and forecast) based on available data, practices or trends to support strategic decisions on resources,

Prepare dossiers, documents, documentations, scorecards etc. for the management and/or other relevant bodies,

Standardize our reporting and governance in order to visualize and report our activities and our successes through the organization,

Ensure that information based on this data is understandable, updated, consistent, synthesized, available and archived.

Required skills:

You have the following skills and experience:

Educated to an engineering degree or business administration or equivalent

A good handling of Excel/ Google Sheets or other programs for data analytics

Passion for flexible thinking: from abstract to detail and vice versa

Speak up: open minded to approach stakeholders of different levels and not afraid to highlight topics

Stakeholders Management: Like to work with different functions, levels and exchange about solutions

Affinity to connect the dots: translation from practical work into data points for management presentations

Presentation skills are very appreciated

Project Management experience is a plus

Experience with performance management would be a plus

English: negotiation level

French is a plus
