There are opportunities carrying out Crushing, Hardrock and gearbox rebuilds at our facility in Rutherford.You’ll be joining a diverse, inclusive, and supportive team who take pride in their work with an organisation whose values include people development, ambition, quality, technology & innovation, and a global reach.Key Job Responsibilities

  • Working hands on to execute assigned work to required standards.
  • Ensure standard work practices and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in the control of consumable and tooling usage to minimise wastage.
  • Ensure Corporate Engineering Standards are met.
  • Mechanical repairs of including planned maintenance, welding, cutting, fabrication, motor alignment.
  • Greasing routines and setup of mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor auto lube system to ensure maximum availability.
  • Provide support and assistance to Supervisor.
  • Monitor and report status of work tools.
  • Housekeeping of tool store & storage areas.


  • Relevant trade qualification in a mechanical and machinist role
  • Demonstrated experience in operating Centre Lathes, Radial Drills, Milling machines, C.N.C borer and C.N.C lathe operation with experience in Fanuc control is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in the rebuild of gearboxes and other mechanical components.
  • Sound computer skills – Word, Excel, Kronos.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and plan jobs.
