Hospice Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health – High Paying Job Details:

We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-paying Hospice Weekend On-Call position in Home Health Care. We are looking for an on-call RN to cover every Friday 5pm to Monday 8am, and an occasional holiday. The nurse can work mostly at home for this position and can sleep during these hours but must be available to answer the phone and possibly go out to do a visit if a patient’s call can’t be handled any other way. The Registered Nurse will only have to go out and do a treatment in an emergency. The Registered Nurse is not required to have Home Health or Hospice experience; however, the nurse must have at least 1 year of experience with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients or labor and delivery. These hospice visits are done in the home setting. This Hospice On-Call Baylor position is with a home health and hospice company that has been in business for many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS OF THE HOSPICE WEEKEND ON CALL REGISTERED NURSE POSITION: It is preferred that the RN have Hospice experience, however we will consider Registered Nurse who have at least 1 year of recent experience working in labor and delivery, or with adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients in any of the following settings: Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. The RN must have a current CPR certification, valid Driver’s license, and valid auto insurance. The registered nurse must be a registered nurse (RN). The registered nurse must be licensed in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card.
