In this role, your responsibilities will be individualized, but may include:
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and other departments, to gain exposure to various aspects of financial operations. Contribute your expertise and insights to assist in key decision-making processes.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Evaluate financial data, identify trends, and generate valuable insights to support strategic initiatives.
- Accounting Processes: Assist in various accounting processes, such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Support risk management efforts by identifying potential financial risks and proposing mitigation strategies. Conduct internal audits and contribute to the development of effective control measures.
- Project Participation: Engage in projects related to process improvement, automation, and digital transformation within the finance and accounting function. Leverage your skills to drive efficiency and enhance financial operations.
- Innovation and Transformation: Use your fresh perspective and diverse experiences to contribute to shaping new ideas, processes and strategies for the future of finance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous professional experience in a finance or accounting role
- Previous experience working in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Previous experience using Microsoft office applications: word for written communications, outlook for email correspondence, excel for data analysis
