We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Assistant Cafe Manager at the Granite Island Cafe.

The Assistant Café Manager, Granite Island is accountable to the Café Manager for ensuring the coordination and delivery of effective and efficient café functions at the Granite Island Café by:

  • Ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient café operation.
  • High quality data is available about the business performance via accurate and timely data entry across all processes and systems.
  • Ensuring that high standards in site presentation and customer service are maintained at all times.
  • Menus are planned incorporating customer feedback.
  • Customers are served in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Industry standards are consistently met in hygiene and orderliness for the preparation, cooking and presentation of food.

Contract:

Contract for up to 31 October 2024

Special Conditions:

  • Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • Demonstrates ability to work alone and be self-reliant.
  • The incumbent will be required to work a mix of week days and weekends, as well as being available during peak seasonal times including school and public holidays.
  • A current First Aid Certificate is essential.
  • May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.

Remuneration:

GSE6 – $1,162.50 min – $1,176.50 max per week
